It is one of Bali Provincial Government program that can be defined as the active participation of tourists as their concern form on the preservation of natural environment and culture of Bali

It aims to support Bali Provincial Government in implementing programs related to preservation of Bali nature and culture.

Legal basis of tourist levy: (a) Law Number 15 of 2023 concerning the Province of Bali; (b) Bali Province Regional Regulation Number 6 of 2023 concerning Levy for Foreign Tourists for the Protection of Balinese Culture and Natural Environment

Every international tourists who travels to Bali and do tourist activities

Tourists contribution in form of cash can be paid through Love Bali application. Tourists may deliver the contribution after registering as Love Bali application users.

The Tourists will get a proof of payment in the form of Levy voucher with a QR Code that is sent via email as registered in Love Bali system

Yes, it can. Registered endpoint (Travel Agent, Accommodations, Cruise Agent, and Tourist Attractions) can also help facilitate the payment of tourist levies, either for individuals or groups.

It can be paid through Love Bali application, either independently or represented by others, or getting assisted by the facilitators (Travel Agent, Accommodations, Cruise Agent, and Tourist Attractions) that have been registered as Love Bali Endpoint. After being registered as Love Bali Application users, foreigners can access Contributor menu, then fill the amount of contribution and continue the payment process.

Basically tourists can pay with any currency, but the application provides IDR currency as the main preference for the payment. System will automatically convert your contribution with equivalent amount from IDR to USD currencies, or from others currencies of your choice (if your preference currency is other than USD and IDR). The equivalent amount is based on closing rate of Bank Indonesia the day before.

Tourists who want to pay the levy through Love Bali application can use several methods, such as via Credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express and JCB), bank transfer, Virtual Account, and QRIS.

International Tourists levy are subject to Rp 150,000 per person.

The levy is paid only 1 (one) time while traveling in Bali, before the person leaves the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.

Payment must be done cashless through electronic payment facilities. Payments can be done by accessing the Love Bali application before entering Bali or can be done cashless payments at the payment counter, which is available at the Airport and Port in Bali.

The International Tourist are strongly encouraged to make payments before departure to Bali to ease procedure upon arrival at the Airport and Port in Bali.

The International Tourists will get a proof of payment, and it will be scanned through a scanner placed after travel documents checking when entering the arrival gates.
